Philippines at a glance
The Philippines is a wonderful English-speaking (formerly a US protectorate) tropical paradise spread across over 7,100 islands. A popular tourist destination for decades, the Philippines has more recently developed a thriving consumer economy supported by new industries buttressed with massive foreign investment. One cannot wander through one of the country’s massive mega-malls (3 of which are among the 10 largest in the world) for long without encountering a KFC, Starbucks, or some other familiar American brand. While the Philippine economy is developing rapidly, ample opportunities remain for qualified clients with in-demand skills and experience or investment capital.

Filipino People and Culture
You will not find another English-speaking country whose people are as genuine friendly and sweet as the Philippines. These people, while often poor, are also educated and very family-oriented. They care for one another deeply the people will generally treat you with great respect without expectations of anything in return. Filipinas are renowned the world over for being excellent wives, nurses and caregivers.
The country has a vibrant culture that can suit the tastes of whomever desires. While the country is
overwhelmingly Catholic, all faiths are present and practiced freely.
